Is it safe?

Homœopathic remedies are made from a wide range of substances including plants, minerals, animal products and metals. The substances are diluted many times so there can be no toxicity from the substances themselves. They are non addictive and are safe for everyone including pregnant women and babies.

What does the Homœopath need to know?

In order to find the right remedy I will need to know all about you. Not only do I need to know about your physical symptoms and how you experience them, but also about you as an individual. You will be asked about your emotional states, your likes and dislikes, your sleep and energy and your bodily functions.

Also of great relevance is your personal and family medical histories.  You will be sent a form for you to fill in prior to your initial consultation which we will discuss during your first appointment.

ALL INFORMATION WILL BE TREATED IN THE STRICTEST CONFIDENCE.

Consultations

The first consultation will last approximately 1½ hours and follow up appointments 30-40 minutes. Children’s appointments will be shorter and are charged at a reduced rate.  The timing of follow up appointments will vary depending on the case but 4-6 weekly intervals is usual for new cases.

How long does treatment take ?

This depends very much on the sort of illness you have and how long you have had it. Acute complaints can clear up very quickly and even some long term illnesses can see an improvement after a short while. Others will  take more time and will demand some level of commitment to treatment.
