Acupuncture Facial Revitalisation

What is it?

Facial Revitalisation is not the latest fad or new technique on the market. It is a natural method of reducing the signs of aging, stress and tension in the face, and it has been practiced in China for thousands of years.

How Does It Work?

Facial Revitalisation Acupuncture involves needles being inserted into specific points on the meridians of the face to trigger the skin to go into “healing” mode. This means collagen production is boosted which will tighten, lift and smooth the skin and improve muscle tone. Benefits include helping to reduce bags under the eyes, sagging cheeks and double chins, eliminating fine lines and diminishing larger wrinkles and general puffiness of the face by improving hormonal balance.

Can I have this? Do the Needles Hurt?

Very fine, specialized, disposable needles for the face are used. A slight stinging sensation may be felt on occasions but generally the treatment is not considered painful. The aim of the treatment is for the experience to be relaxing and restful.

It is not recommended if you have:

High blood pressure, migraines, diabetes, cancer, hepatitis or other infection risks, a bleeding disorder, acute cold / flu, a cold sore present, are pregnant or if you have a pacemaker or any other electrical implants.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Improvements can be seen after the first treatment but significant changes are usually clearer after a number of treatments. You may decide you would like a few treatments before a special occasion or to have a course of 5 - 10 sessions and top-up treatments as required.

What is the cost?

The first “try-out” session lasts 45 minutes and is £35.00.

Further sessions are for 75 minutes and are £45.
