Simon specialised in the high risk foot with particular reference to diabetes.  He was the senior team leader of the Diabetic Foot Service until he left the NHS to enter full time private practice.

Simon has undertaken post grad training in diabetes and biomechanics.  He is committed to a programme of continuous professional development and is currently studying for a Masters of Science in Podiatry at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.

His main interests lie in minor foot surgery and diabetic foot care.  Simon undertakes many of the more painful procedures under local anaesthetic to ensure patient pain free experience.

As part of Simon's Masters programme he is now qualified to supply prescription only medicines as part of a consultation where indicated.  This includes antibiotic cover to reduce risk of infection.
