About Podiatry

Podiatry is an extension of Chiropody.  While providing the same high level of routine foot care, Podiatrists are trained to a much higher standard (B.Sc. Podiatric medicine). 

Podiatrists tend to specialise in areas of foot care such as the prescription of surgical foot wear, orthotic devices (insoles to correct gait irregularities & foot deformity), foot surgery, diabetic foot care & Podopaediatrics (the study and correction of children's foot deformity).

Mr Simon Crocker has a specilises interest in nail surgery and the care of the diabetic patient along with routine chiropody services and Mrs Harris Gregory has a special interest in biomechanics and insole prescription.
