Mr. Colm Gregory - Osteopath
Colm, ended his career
as a field social worker within Adolescent Services, to attend The
European Of Osteopathy and retrain as an Osteopath in 1991.
On graduating from
the ESO in 1995
he went to work in Essex for
Body Balance,
a multidisciplinary practice incorporating multiple therapies. It
was here that Jackie and Colm met and in 1997 left for Ireland to
start their own business.
In September '97,
together they opened
Well Being Complementary Healthcare
in Waterford City, offering initially Podiatry and Osteopathy. The
practice grew quickly to include Acupuncture, Homoeopathy,
Reflexology, Therapeutic Massage and Kinesiology.
In 2001, Colm and Jackie
returned to the UK to pursue other career opportunities. Colm was
employed by the ESO as a clinic tutor and lecturer in Pathological
Principles 2 days a week and in March 2002 went back to work at Body
Balance 1½ days a week.
In March 2003, Jackie
and Colm were offered the opportunity to Purchase the Maidstone
Podiatry, Chiropody and Acupuncture practice and took over the
practice on the 31st July 2003.
In
October 2004 Colm took over Chattenden Osteopathic Practice and
later moved the practice to the Tolgate Clinic in Strood.
He
continues to work at the ESO as a Clinic Tutor and Lectures in
Clinical Osteopathic Integration. In October 2006, Colm took up a
teaching position at
The London School Of Osteopathy where he teaches Differential
Diagnosis.
Colm is proficient in
all areas of Osteopathic care within all age groups. He has a
special interest in Disc Rehabilitation, Sport Related and
Occupational Injuries.
As
part of his commitment to continuous professional development, Colm
is currently enrolled on the Masters programme at the
University Of Kent,
studying
Sports
Therapy and Rehabilitation.
